I first met Cole and Elizabeth in June 2022. I could tell as soon as I met them that we would be a great match! On May 13, 2023, Elizabeth and Cole had such a timeless and elegant summer wedding and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!
From the location to the decorations and color scheme they selected, Elizabeth and Cole designed such a lovely and classic wedding at The Ruins at Kellum Valley in Cleveland, Georgia. The bridesmaids wore satin champagne dresses, while the groomsmen wore navy blue suits. Their decor was delicate and elegant, with touches of gold, green, and white which made this elegant summer wedding one for the books!
Most brides change into a reception dress, but Elizabeth did something so special that I got hooked on it! She wore the sleeves from her mother’s 1980 wedding dress for the reception instead of getting a new dress. It was really lovely and the ideal fusion of modern and vintage.
That is not where the amazement and obsession for that wedding ends because their reception was one of the best receptions I have been to. They were nonstop all night long, and just about everyone that was at that wedding was on the dance floor, and it made for some epic shots because everyone was having the time of their lives!
Elizabeth and Cole are dream clients to work with and if every wedding could be as wonderful as The Gilley’s wedding, I would be a thrilled photographer.
